Build your own coolant filter kit using a filter base from Wix or Auto Zone.
This kit provides the fittings, hose, one filter, and the coolant rated ball valves
to help you do just that!
This kit is for Vehicles with 3/4" heater hoses. Where the heater hose to the heater
core receives a spliced in tee to supply coolant to the filter base. And a spliced
in tee in the heater hose from the heater core returns filtered coolant.
Use your own filter base and mount. Be sure that your filter base has 11/16" -16
threads. You can enter the filter number that is recommended by the manufacturer
into the Wix Filters web site and a detail page will give the filter's threads.
This kit does not include the filter base or the mount. You will need to buy these
items locally.

*This material is used under the hood of many vehicles. Check the lower hoses on
your vehicle and you will most likely find a plastic tee. As long as you keep them
away from exhaust and turbo's etc. they can out perform the brass versions.
