Tags and or specifications in the glove box.
You can call your vehicles Dealer with the VIN number.
Your mechanic may be able to help.

View the drawing and check for interferences.
Most brackets that are attached using one of
the cover bolts will generally not be a problem.
This cover NDC508-A could fit many GM vehicles.
Many of the listed vehicles were also built with a 7-1/2" 10 Bolt
or a 9-1/2" 14 Bolt axle.

"This 14 bolt 10-1/2" differential cover uses 12 of the 14 bolts. The
bolt hole at the bottom was removed because the drain boss is best
located there. We have sold many of these and have never had a
problem with leaking. The flange is very strong and the two bolts
that are left out are not missed."
GM Bolt issues
GM installed the stock covers on this axle using different bolt
combinations.

which bolt package to ship.

which bolt package to ship.GM installed the stock covers on this axle using different bolt diameters. You will need to specify which bolts are used on your vehicle so that we can ship the correct ones with your new cover.
The bolts used are:
8mm diameter (.315)
3/8" diameter (.375)
Bolt head markings 5.8, 9.8, 10.9, or 12.9 indicate a metric bolt.
You can purchase a 8mm x 1.25 or 3/8" nut for 10 cents or so from a good bolt supply house and test it on the top bolt on your stock cover. The bolt length is not needed to place an order for this cover.
Make a note of bolt info as we will contact you prior to shipment so that we include the correct bolt package.
